Welcome to The Lewos Tavern.
Somewhere beyond the last turn in the Asturian road, a table is being prepared for your party. For three nights, the outside world falls away. You arrive as travellers, gather as a party, and the story is written around the people who show up.
Three nights, six players, one table. Every meal, your own room and a professional Game Master.

Featured weekends are designed for six guests, while private and custom Tavern experiences can welcome parties of up to twelve. Beyond the threshold
The outside world ends at the foot of the mountain.
Green valleys, mist and the quiet of Asturias. You arrive with a character and a weekend ahead of you. Dinner is shared, the dice start rolling, and somewhere between the first clue and the last breakfast a group of strangers turns into a party.
No four-hour session with a clock on it. Three days at the same table, and time for the story to go somewhere.
Where the story begins
Welcome to Fontecha.
The Lewos Tavern is set within Complejo Rural de Fontecha, a small collection of mountain houses near Llerandi in Asturias.
The surrounding landscape has carried travellers for centuries. A Neolithic burial mound, the túmulo de Fontecha, is recorded on the boundary between Parres and Piloña, and old mountain paths still cross these ridges. Buried history and mountain folklore belong to this place. Now a new story is about to begin here.

The Tavern weekend fills three nights, but Asturias does not stop at the gate. The lakes above Covadonga, the valleys of Ponga, the beaches at Ribadesella, the old town in Gijón — guests who arrive early or stay on have more than one kind of day to choose from. Some of these are the Tavern and the house you sleep in; the rest is the region around it.

Meet your Game Master
This is Evan.
A storyteller with a love for horror, atmosphere and giving players a world they can truly lose themselves in.
Evan first joined a tabletop roleplaying game in a school library in Oxford almost ten years ago. When that group outgrew its table, he started a second one and stepped behind the screen. What began as a lunchtime game became eight years of storytelling, with some of that original group still at his table today.
His games combine detailed description, music and sound to make imagined places feel real. What matters most to him is not controlling the story, but watching players take ownership of it and continue talking about it after the session has ended.
Away from the table, Evan studies in London, works in esports production and brings experience from competitive sport and live-action roleplay. One day he hopes to run a game before a live audience.
He comes to Asturias to run the Halloween Table.

Meet your Game Master
This is Peter.
A world-builder who would rather be surprised by his own story than know how it ends.
Peter Fleming first sat down at a D&D table in college, about twenty years ago. He started running games himself six years back, after moving to Berlin. Stepping behind the screen turned out to be a good way to meet people in a new city.
His tables swing wide. A campy fantasy baking competition in one game, eldritch body horror on a forgotten island in another. What stays the same is the world around it, built so that players are in it rather than watching it.
He does not plan the ending. The moments he plays for are the ones nobody saw coming. That includes him, when a table takes an option he never would have considered.
For two years, Peter ran his games in public. Crit Test Dummies was an actual play stream on Twitch with independently written one-shots, played out live in front of an audience.
Away from the table, Peter is from Indiana and lives in Germany, where he works as a producer in mobile gaming, designs board games and trains circus trapeze. He is now building an original world for his next campaign.

Before you set out
Good to know.
Your own room. A shared house.
Everyone at the table gets their own bedroom, most of them a short walk from the Tavern; one of the houses sits further out across the grounds. You share the house with others from the same table — who, after three days, are not strangers anymore.
Food
Breakfast, lunch and dinner, and everything non-alcoholic in between. Vegetarian, allergies, anything else — tell us once you've booked and it's handled.
Getting here
Fly into Asturias (OVD), or take the train or bus to Arriondas. Your transfer from Asturias Airport or Arriondas train or bus station to the Tavern is included. Collection from other locations may be arranged at additional cost. Tell us how and when you plan to arrive, and we will arrange the last stretch. Drivers receive the exact location and directions.

Staying longer
Extra nights before or after your weekend can be booked together with your stay, subject to availability. They are €115 per night per apartment, up to four guests per apartment, paid to the accommodation on arrival. Your transfer is included whichever day you arrive or leave. Meals are not included on an extra night — you are free to eat out, and we can usually drive you to a restaurant nearby.
Weekend 01 — The Halloween Table
Weekend 01 is a professionally filmed edition. A professional videographer captures selected parts of the Halloween Table, including moments around the game table, shared activities, meals and the Tavern grounds.
The photography, video and accompanying audio may be used to document and promote The Lewos Tavern through Lewos and StoryForgers websites, official organic social-media channels, newsletters, PR and editorial material, and promotional films.
Because filming is part of what this Halloween Table is, every attendee reviews and completes the Filming & Media Agreement personally before attending. One person cannot agree on behalf of the rest of the party. Paid advertising needs a separate, optional permission. What is filmed, where it may appear and what is never covered are set out in the filming information.
Every other weekend
Any weekend not marked as a filmed edition is not planned as a professionally filmed edition. Lewos may occasionally ask in advance whether a guest would like to appear in a specific photo or short video. Saying no has no effect on participation. Any recognisable promotional use requires separate, specific permission beforehand; paid advertising remains optional.

Has this run before?
No. The Halloween Table is our first one. Ever.
The room is built and the campaign is written — around sixteen hours of it, pulled out of Asturian myth that belongs to these mountains and nowhere else.
What hasn't happened yet is the first players walking through that door.
Everything here has been thought about: which chair you sit in, what comes to the table on Saturday night, what's waiting at the end of the story. The Halloween Table is where the Tavern's story begins, and the people who show up still shape what this place turns into.
You'd be at the first table. There's only one of those.
Do I need to have played before?
No. Tell us when you sign up and the Game Master builds a character with you and takes it from there. Bringing years of experience is fine too — the table is built around whoever ends up at it.
What language is it in?
English.
Where do I sleep?
In your own bedroom, a short walk from the Tavern itself. One of the houses sits further out than the rest. You sleep where you play.
I'm coming alone. Is that strange?
Not at all. You may find a table of solo travellers, a few friends arriving together, or a mix of both. However the party comes together, arriving on your own should never make you feel like the odd one out.
That's what a tavern is for: sharing the same table, the same food, the same fire and one unfolding story. Robert hosts the weekend himself and will welcome you as he would a friend or family member, making sure everyone has a place in the party from the moment they arrive.

How do I get there?
Fly into Asturias (OVD), or come by train or bus to Arriondas. From there the transfer is ours; the journey to Asturias is yours.
Tell us how and when you arrive and we arrange the last stretch. Collection from elsewhere and car hire can be arranged at additional cost. Driving? We send the exact location and directions.
Will I be filmed?
Only on a weekend that is marked as a filmed edition. That is always stated on the weekend itself, before you book — never afterwards. The Halloween Table is a filmed edition. If a later weekend is one, it will say so in the same place, and a weekend that does not say so is not filmed.
On a filmed weekend a professional videographer captures selected parts of it — the game table above all, and also shared activities, meals and the Tavern grounds.
The material may be used to document and promote the Tavern on Lewos and StoryForgers websites, official organic social-media channels, newsletters, PR and editorial material, and promotional films.
Every adult attending completes the Filming & Media Agreement personally before the weekend; the person who booked cannot agree for anyone else. Using your image in paid advertising needs a separate, optional permission. There is no filming in bedrooms, bathrooms or changing areas, and private conversations are not published. The filming information sets out the whole of it.
Are the other weekends filmed?
No. Every weekend that is not marked as a filmed edition is not planned as a professionally filmed edition, and The Halloween Table is currently the only one that is. If a future weekend is filmed, it says so on that weekend before you book.
On any weekend that is not filmed we may occasionally ask in advance whether you would like to appear in a specific photo or short video. Saying no has no effect on participation. Recognisable promotional use requires separate, specific permission beforehand, and paid advertising remains optional.
What if the weekend doesn't go ahead?
A weekend runs with a minimum of four players. If we don't reach that, it doesn't happen and you get every euro back. We will tell you no later than 30 days before the weekend begins — and if you haven't heard from us by then, your weekend is going ahead. That is the moment to book your flights, if you haven't already.
Can I book the whole thing for my own group?
Yes. Private Tavern weekends run for 4 to 12 players, tailored to your group. Tell us what you have in mind through the form and we'll come back with a proposal.
